Eaten very tasty, super friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We always like to come back. The free parking in front of the restaurant is very pleasant.

The pilum is always a good choice. My family and I always go there when we're around. :) Reservation is easy online using a form -> I personally find it very pleasant, as you have to pay attention to opening times, etc. when calling. Ambience is wonderful - both inside and outside. Outside there is even a small playground for children. The service is top notch. Very quickly - even when there is a lot of traffic - and very friendly and courteous. It is regularly asked whether everything is satisfactory or whether something else is needed. The advice / recommendation is always very good if you are undecided. If I could I would even give it an extra star, because one of the lovely gentlemen from the service could still remember what we ate the last time we visited. :) The food is simply delicious. We have never been served anything bad here. Whether salad, pasta, fish or meat. The selection on the menu is very good, everyone will find something here. Price-performance ratio is also excellent -> not at all too expensive for this great quality.

We celebrated our wedding at PILUM in August and are completely satisfied. The guests were very enthusiastic about both the location and the service provided by Matteo and his colleagues. The food was very good and the process ran smoothly from start to finish. Special requests and minor changes to the plan were dealt with. The hygiene concept in times of Corona was strictly followed and guests felt safe and comfortable. We will always look back fondly on this day and will certainly celebrate many wedding anniversaries at the PILUM.

For a short visit to Stuttgart and found this wonderful location. We could sit outside. Lots of space. The ambience in the building is great. Beautiful. Food: above expectation. Really delicious. Ambience: very nice. Staff: super friendly. Very attentive. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation.

You sit with the chairs in the sand like on the beach. Operation or service could be faster / better. One gets the impression that they serve the customers rather listlessly. Rather disappointed me. But that's not always the case, sometimes the service is okay. However, it is often closed, it seems to me as if they have permanent rest days or they often have closed parties (now probably not because of Corona). Quite nice, but I wasn't really enthusiastic about the shop.

I haven't had such a service for a long time, super friendly and attentive staff who enjoy their work. The food is delicious and fresh, highly recommended.

I love this place. While working in Bad Cannstatt I eat here at least once a week. Menu always has plenty of variety and the food and the service is great!!

This place is Just Awesome. Had been here with some German Friends on a Fine Evening around Christmas Time. The ambience was pleasing and the Christmas decorations were so beautiful to watch for. Had tried for German authentic food and the decision was right. The place was filled with people and celebrations when I had visited.

Picturesque patio. We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant after being dropped off the hop on/off tour around the corner. The wine stop was a disappointment but the restaurant was a hidden gem. Large portions, delicious food, friendly staff.

The Pilum is a restaurant on an edge of Römerkastell. The Römerkastel is an refurbished former military installation, transformed into private driven center with lots of small businesses It is located in the Hallschlag, a part of Stuttgart Nord, which see better times at the moment. The Pilum is stylish and it is possible to sit outside, looking at the small wodden playground. The food is delicious and the waiters are fast. In the evening you can relay and enjoy the sun. There is a wide area for parking besides the restaurant. By feet or bus you can reach it, but everxbody here use its car. When i enjoy a new restaurant, i always check the restrooms too and here in Pilum it is clean and also stylish. In general, a good place to spend time in the evening.

At the end of the day, it’s still German good (or at least faithfully interpreted in the German style), but we keep going back. I mean, it’s not perfect. But I’ve enjoyed my food every time. Just beware, the beef on the Pilum Platter is invariably difficult to chew. But it’s great for groups, LOADS of parking (it’s an old US Kaserne), and their in-house salad dressing is almost drinkable. It feels light, but in your heart you know that it’s at least half cream.

At lunch they always have 1 meat dish 1 vegetarian with affordable prices. Also one salad or soup for the whole week.

Stopped in after a wine tasting at Weinfactum. The best Goulaschsuppe I’ve had in 20 years. I will have it again for dessert before I leave!
